This is one of the lessons from our ongoing Fun Russian for Beginners course curriculum. In this One Time Class students will learn to talk about their families in Russian language. We will start by introducing ourselves though a short discussion. Then we will listen to a finger-family song and practice singing it together. Afterwards we will focus on pronunciation of the names of family members separately. The vocabulary includes: я (I / Me), Мама (Mom), Папа (Dad), сестра (sister), брат (brother), Дедушка (Grandpa), Бабушка (Grandma). The sentence frame to be learned are: У меня есть _____. (I have ___.) We will practice building our family trees by naming our family members.
