We're also taking a peek into the grammar universe, checking out the parts of speech that go hand-in-hand with our cool new vocabulary. Plus, we'll crack the code on spelling rules, giving you the lowdown on language mechanics. And here's the fun part: hands-on activities! Get ready to play with words, writing them down and practicing those spelling rules you just picked up. Come join us for an interactive and educational journey. Introduction to prefix/suffix of the week 3. Instructions for a game learners can play 4. Spelling practice applying the three suffixing rules (when relevant) 5. A worksheet will accompany the video each week that will give additional practice. Learners can complete it for practice or "submit" it for feedback. This class uses strategies aligned with the Science of Reading, which support all learners (including dyslexic learners) in attaining the skills necessary to read.

The site "genial.ly" will be used to host games and resources that are interactive for game portions of the class. To access genial.ly, learners do not need to have a log-in or password, and are not able to navigate away from the link provided.
