課堂經歷
We'll use photos and video clips to learn the basics of what makes a robot (sensors, processors and actuators are compared to a child's 5 senses, brains, and hands) and why robots are built (to do jobs humans can't do or don't want to do). I'll demo a toy robot mouse. We'll play a Simon Says style "programmer says" game, and sing a Robot song. I'll show video clips of actual robots that were inspired by nature - robots that climb like geckos, run like ostriches and swim like jelly fish. Then...
No supplies needed during class. There is an optional follow-up activity to build a robot with craft supplies you already own or items from the recycling bin.
