Aligned with Common Core State Standards (CCSS)
Students will be taught reading comprehension strategies, how to decode phonics, and spelling rules. We will review fluency and the importance of taking our time when reading. Each week the theme will change. We will review the above-stated skills using highly engaging Roblox games. We will have some play time on Roblox in story games and games that include phonics/reading skills. Students will improve their reading comprehension and fluency skills. They will also learn the importance of taking their time to answer questions.
