Does your learner love Roblox? Let's use that love to get them inspired about learning fractions!! In this multi-day class, learners will use Roblox characters to increase their 3rd-grade and 4th-grade math skills while mastering the elements of fractions. We will begin with the principles of fractions. We will use Roblox graphic examples, diagrams, discussion, and practice problems to develop an in-depth understanding of fractions. The topics covered will include fractions of shapes, fractions of groups, and fractions on a number line. We will work to develop an understanding of equivalency in fractions as well as non-equivalency. Learners will be provided with class documents to print before each week of classes. Please ensure that your learner has their documents for each class meeting. Much of the class work will be based on these documents.
