Skill level: Intermediate to coding - child should be able to read
Device : PC /Laptop , Roblox Studio is only available on Windows and Mac and does not work on Tablets or Chrome books . Please ensure you have a mouse for this class and the devices are not just touch screen.

Learners will create their own game on Roblox using Roblox Studio and publish it towards the end of the class. Each day they learn new skills and add towards creating their game. Kids will use  logical and critical  thinking skills  to learn the basics of game designing and development. They will learn how camera angles work , how to create effects and much more. 

Day 1 : Roblox Studio installation and studio interface 
Day 2: Generating terrain, creating your own game terrain 
Day 3 : Using effects to edit your terrain 
Day 4 : Creating spawn pads and spawn locations
Day 5 and 6 : Adding objects and using the toolkit 
Day 7 , 8 and 9 : Scripting for the objects and different materials 
Day 10: Game testing and debugging 

This class will help learners develop -
An understanding of Lua the coding language used to create Roblox Games.
The basic concepts of computer programming
How to get set up to create your first Roblox game by creating an account and downloading and installing Roblox Studio.
How to move, scale and rotate your Roblox parts.
How to create a script, make objects spawn and how to program your Roblox Player.
How to Use Roblox Toolbox and create your own models, save them and import them into your projects
Design, Test, and Play your own game from beginning to end.

You will be able to use all the concepts and coding you learnt in this course to create your own interactive games on Roblox.
At the end of this course learners would have created their own roblox game and published it. This is an interactive class where the students will do along with the teacher and so students should know how to switch between tabs or use 2 devices. The teacher will guide the learners from installation to game publishing.
