Roblox Creature Double Feature is a spine-tingling social club where learners between the ages of 10-14 enjoy two different Roblox horror games in each session. This class is designed to provide tween and young teen aged Roblox players with a fun and safe environment to interact with other players while exploring their favorite horror games such as Rainbow Friends, Doors, Piggy, 3008, Evade, SCP Roleplay, etc. In this 55-minute class, learners will play two different Roblox horror games under the guidance of the teacher. My private server ensures that learners are playing in a safe environment with the help of an adult moderator. Roblox is a popular online gaming platform that allows players to choose from thousands of virtual worlds and games. It has become increasingly popular among young gamers, particularly in the horror genre. This class embraces this passion for the spooky and creepy with two carefully selected games that are suitable for kids in this age range. The selection of games for this class is carefully curated, taking into consideration the age appropriateness, level of difficulty, and ability to deliver a spine-tingling experience. Throughout the class, the teacher will be actively facilitating gameplay, leading discussions on game strategy, and ensuring that all learners are comfortable and fully engaged. In class, we will play games that have a scary theme and may include mild cartoon violence, weapons, flashing lights and jump scares. Some games may be rated 9+ and I am selective in my game choice to ensure that they are appropriate and without excessive gore. These games have been carefully checked and approved by the instructor. Some examples are Rainbow Friends, Doors, Weird Strict Dad, and Piggy.
Learners will have to friend the teacher in order to participate on the private server. Because of the nature of Roblox, other students can see their Roblox gamer tag in the game while playing. Gamer tags should not be shared in the classroom or in public chat with other students. For safety and privacy reasons, all learners will be unfriended by the teacher at the end of class.

My name is Christine, but in 2021, many of my learners started calling me by the nickname Ms. Wish after my gamer handle. I love it and it stuck!
I am a former private school classroom teacher and current homeschooling mom. I have taught students from infants to senior citizens in various subjects, though I have a special affinity for video gaming, music, math, theater, and language.
On Outschool, I teach mostly social gaming clubs as I have found a need for learners to socialize while playing their favorite online games in a safe and supervised environment. In these classes, students build important social skills needed to have fun and stay safe in an online gaming environment. I am a strong believer that much learning happens through play! Like Maria Montessori said "play is the work of the child." These days much play happens in the virtual world, and as a lifelong gamer I choose to embrace it!
I have had a passion for teaching since I was in 3rd Grade and was selected for a program that allowed a few students to tutor 1st-grade students in reading and math. Since then, I have worked as a teacher/tutor my entire adult life. I have a Bachelor's in Liberal Studies with a concentration in music and have received training in the Kodaly Method of teaching music to young learners. My instrument of choice is my voice.
I have a gentle and playful teaching style built on mutual respect. My favorite quote is from Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods, "Careful the things you say. Children will listen. Careful the things you do. Children will see and learn."
When I am not teaching, I enjoy hiking and rediscovering the wonders of nature with my son.
