Beginner Level
Hi! Welcome to Roblox Scripting Basics Camp. Roblox Studio experience is required for this course. Practice making roblox games without script before enrolling in this class. If you are unsure what Roblox Studio experience means, please message me before enrolling. Roblox games are not played in this class. This is a coding/scripting class. The coding done in this class is very BASIC in nature and is designed to introduce students to scripting in Roblox Studio. This class intended to be a student's FIRST time scripting in roblox in their entire life. This course is NOT recommended for students that have scripting experience. This is a short 3 day camp. This is an ideal class for younger students that want to "try" scripting before committing to a longer course. This class assumes you have NEVER scripted before. 4 or more enrolled students are needed for this course. If there are not enough students, transfer/refund/Rescheduling options are provided. Block programming is not used in this course. The are no little blocks to drag across the screen. Code is written by typing information with a computer keyboard.

Other Details
Parental Guidance
Parental Guidance is advised for students under 13 when accessing the internet and when downloading and installing programs such as Roblox Studio. Roblox Studio is a free program that should only be downloaded from the official Roblox site. www.roblox.com/create. Roblox Studio requires a Roblox account.
It is strongly encouraged that parents add their own email address to the Roblox Account in case the student gets locked out of their Roblox account. If a student gets locked out of their Roblox Account, that means they will be locked out of Roblox Studio too.
Roblox Studio requires an internet connection (Roblox Studio cannot be used offline/without internet).
Pre-Requisites
Students must have experience using a Windows or Mac computer. Students must have experience using a computer keyboard and mouse.
Supply List
Roblox Studio is required for this course. Roblox Studio can only be used on a Windows/Mac computer. Chromebooks, Tablets, Smartphones, are NOT compatible with Roblox Studio. Roblox Studio can be downloaded from www.roblox.com/landing I strongly recommend using two devices for the class so that your child can view both my screen and their own screen. Having a computer mouse for Roblox Studio is strongly encouraged. All live Outschool classes require a video camera. This class assumes your child already has used Roblox Studio before and has experience making their own Roblox games. If you are unsure if this is the correct class for your child, ask me first.
