Using IEW's Writing Structure and Style, this class will cover Unit 4, all Disney Parks themed! We will be using source texts on Walt Disney and the World's Fair and EPCOT. Students will learn the important words to remember when taking notes, how to take notes properly and how to place those notes in an outline. Every outline must be tested verbally. Then the reference material will be rewritten using their own words. I expect cameras to be on and all actively engaged and participating.
學習目標
Students will be able to summarize a reference text using the Funnel Technique and rewrite the information in their own words. Dress-ups will include using -ly adverbs, who/which clauses, www.asia.b clauses, strong verbs, quality adjectives and watching for banned words. MLA will be used as well as how to use citation resources on Word and Google Docs.

We are diving into Walt's use of the World's Fair to expand his parks. We will be reading reference materials and summarizing that material into an outline. We will then use that outline to rewrite the reference material into our own words. 55 分鐘線上直播課

Will 100% work with parents on accommodations for all learners. I believe any student can excel in this class although the process may be different for each student's unique learning challenges.
先決條件
Of course, having gone to a Disney Park would be helpful, it is not necessary. Taking Parts 1-3/8 of this course would be beneficial, but also not necessary to succeed. All sources and material are provided by me.
