🧠💡 Brain Teaser Jeopardy Summer Class 💡🧠 In this three-day summer class, your child will embark on an exhilarating journey through the world of brain teasers, all while playing an engaging game of Brain Teaser Jeopardy! 🤔 What is a brain teaser? Brain teasers are captivating puzzles that provide game-based learning opportunities. They come in various forms, challenging participants to employ creative and complex thinking skills to solve them. 🎮 How the game is played: 1️⃣ Participants will encounter three categories of brain teasers: language, math, and visual. 2️⃣ Each category contains brain teasers with three different point values: 100, 200, and 300, with the difficulty increasing with each point value. 3️⃣ The first player selects a category and a point value. 4️⃣ The teacher will present the brain teaser corresponding to the chosen category and point value. 5️⃣ All learners will have two minutes to crack the brain teaser. 6️⃣ After the allotted time, students will share their answers. 7️⃣ Correct answers earn points for the respective category. 8️⃣ Steps 3-7 repeat until all categories and point values have been exhausted. 📆 Three-Day Adventure: Each day of this summer class will bring a new game of Brain Teaser Jeopardy, offering fresh challenges and opportunities for your learners to hone their problem-solving skills and critical thinking prowess! I’m Teacher Jennifer, eagerly anticipating the opportunity to inspire and guide your learner on their educational journey. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education PreK-6 and a Master's degree in Special Education, alongside 12 years of teaching experience, I’ve passionately dedicated myself to nurturing young minds in both general and special education settings. With two years molding second graders, nine years shaping fifth graders, and now teaching sixth graders, my expertise spans a wide spectrum, ensuring every student's unique needs are met.
Beyond the traditional classroom, I've expanded my horizons with a TEFL certification, enriching the lives of children worldwide through the art of English language instruction. Teaching isn't just a profession for me; it's my calling, my passion.
I provide a diverse range of educational classes encompassing grammar, reading, writing, word study, and comprehensive private tutoring across all subject areas. Additionally, I am deeply committed to instilling a growth mindset and offer specialized courses in this domain. Central to my teaching philosophy is the belief that every classroom should serve as a safe, nurturing environment where all learners feel empowered to express themselves and thrive.
