Hi, this is Mrs. C with Innovative Tutoring. If you are looking for a plain, straightforward, to-the-point teaching of math concepts, this is your class. I do use a variety of methods to teach, but my goal is to make sure that the students master the material. I want them to learn, to gain knowledge. The word "teacher" means "one who is apt to teach". Students will gain confidence and renewed knowledge over past learned concepts. You will review the order of operations, fractions, percentages, decimals, measurements, and pre-algebraic equations. The student will review all of this functions, so that they are able to be comfortable working these problems.
I am a degreed elementary education teacher with 25+ years classroom teaching experience, plus 14+ years homeschool experience. I also have experience teaching 7th grade Basic Math, 8th grade Pre-Algebra, 9th grade Algebra 1, 10th grade Geometry, and 11th grade Algebra 2. I have also tutored several students on basic math and algebra.
