Reboot: Responsible Gaming Habits Welcome to Reboot: Responsible Gaming Habits! In this interactive 5-day course, students will explore the potential impacts of video games on physical and mental health, social skills, and relationships. We'll discuss common concerns related to video game use, such as addiction, social isolation, and negative impacts on academic performance, and examine alternative activities that promote learning, creativity, and personal growth. Through engaging lessons, discussions, and activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of the effects of video game use and develop strategies for responsible gaming habits. Our live sessions will be a mix of lecture, discussion, and interactive activities, and students will have access to a private online community for support and discussion. As your instructor, I'm committed to creating a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages students to think critically about video game use.

Students will be able to identify and analyze common gaming habits and their potential impacts, including the types of games, gaming frequency, and potential effects on physical and mental health, social relationships, and academic performance.
Students will learn strategies for setting boundaries and achieving balance in gaming habits, including setting limits, finding alternative activities, and prioritizing self-care and physical activity.

My goal and passion are to help our youth develop healthier relationships with video games and cultivate essential life skills before they enter higher levels of education or the workforce.
I'm dedicated to providing students with practical strategies for responsible gaming habits, informed decision-making, and effective time management. Through this course, I aim to inspire and equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed choices about their video game use and achieve their goals.
