Welcome to the world below the Drifting City. This is an ongoing class for Dungeons and Dragons. Using 5th edition rules, students will be introduced to a world where their critical thinking, problem solving, social communication, teamwork, and imagination will be put to the challeng. Students do not need firsthand knowledge of 5th edition rules for Dungeons and Dragons. It is not a barrier to entry. Students can learn as they engage with other students and myself in this class. Students will be tasked with situations, where they can attempt to resolve them. Students will be encouraged to ask questions, to help develop their critical thinking and problem solving. Asking questions will lead to a clearer picture of the situation, so that they can feel rest assured on how they would like to tackle the problems. They will be encouraged to communicate with each other, developing teamwork, social understanding, and negotiating. While these are the underlying goals, they're disguised under the goal of "fun".

Themes include fantasy elements. In game problem solving can have many forms, including in-game violence.
