In this flexible schedule class, we will spend 6 weeks learning all you need to know to draw a good portrait on toned paper with charcoal. Experience helps, but is not necessary. Each week I will post reading materials focused on that topic, videos to follow along with for the drawing assignment, and discussion topics in the classroom. I majored in fine arts, and have drawn my entire life. I specialize in realistic charcoal drawings, and have been drawing commissioned portraits for almost ten years. I have tons of knowledge in the area to share!
1 註冊後即可取得文件An exact supply list is provided in the classroom after enrollment, but primarily students will need a charcoal set (that includes white), a toned sketchpad at least 9x12, vine charcoal, art sandpaper, blending stumps, and a kneaded eraser. I will provide tips and tricks, and reading material/videos pertaining to each week's lesson.
