Spanish, Animals, and Fun: Bilingual Live Zoo & Aquarium Tour. Virtual Tour in Spanish and English: LIVE animals in the Monterey Bay Aquarium & San Diego Zoo - Learn Spanish & see all kinds of wonderful creatures in their everyday lives. This bilingual tour is funny and didactic.

In this exciting ongoing class, we will visit the zoo and aquarium weekly. Kids will enjoy the animals' LIVE cameras, and we will have so much fun talking about animals and learning about them. They will also learn Spanish! I will try to speak 50/50 so they understand everything while learning. 

Let's enjoy the animal's everyday routine in this unique class.

**Schedule for visits**

One day of the week we will visit the Zoo and in the next meeting, we will visit the Aquarium. Exciting!

We will see and talk about: Penguins, octopuses, sharks, jellyfish, turtles, lions, elephants, tigers, leopards, baboons, hyenas, blackbucks, jaguars, giraffes, zebras and many more! 

*note: I am a great animal lover and volunteer. The places we will visit DO NOT harm or have animal captives without reason. They help the wildlife. In the San Diego Zoo, The animals are nearly all captive-bred. The only animals taken from the wild are either rescues or species in danger of extinction through habitat loss or poaching. The Safari Park (operated by the Zoo) recently took in a group of rhinos to protect them from poachers and to try to propagate nearly extinct sub-species using the new rhinos as surrogate moms.

 One of the world’s highest-profile public aquariums, California’s Monterey Bay Aquarium (MBA) is transparent and vocal—unlike some aquariums—about the provenance of its animals. Paul Clarkson, a curator of husbandry operations, says his team ensures they use ethical suppliers. MBA's educational mission focuses on local ecosystems, so 80 percent of its animals are from nearby waters.

*note2: This is a live class where we watch live cams of the animals. Sometimes the animals may be away or sleeping. The show must go on :) ENJOY!

This class is ESL Friendly. Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. (CEFR: all levels) Class is appropriate for CEFR: A1, A2, B1, B2 C1, C2.

This is a learner-led Spanish class. This means that I will select a topic that I believe will benefit most students enrolled in the course, considering their age and level of Spanish proficiency. Together, we will explore this topic and work collaboratively to enhance our Spanish language skills. So, come prepared to engage and learn in a dynamic and interactive classroom environment!
