In this course, we will continue to enjoy scripts and activities focused on relaxing, positive thinking, finding and appreciating beauty in our lives, healthy self-concepts, and our relationships with others. This course completes the Ready Set Relax set of classes, though previous classes are not a requirement for taking this course. You may join at any time. I am a mental health professional with over eight years of experience working with children with anxiety, poor self-concept, and other mental health struggles. I have utilized this program in the past. To note, this class is not meant to be viewed as therapy and does not create a therapeutic relationship with learners.

While this class is not meant to diagnose or treat any mental health conditions, it will use a research-based children’s program (Ready, Set, Relax, by Jeffery S. Allen M.Ed and Roger J. Klein, Psy.D) to promote relaxation, learning, and increased self-esteem. The program uses fun strategies for relaxation to teach and support the growth of more relaxed, happy, and achieving children.
