Reading Workshop is an English Language Arts class that helps students become better readers who are better equipped to discuss and write about literature. I use high-interest literature to engage my students, reading strategies to help them understand and analyze what they are reading, hands-on activities, and 20+ years of teaching experience to help me make my classroom engaging, welcoming, and differentiated. Students will become stronger readers. They will be better able to discuss and write about what they are reading.
I have taught reading and writing classes for 20+ years to a variety of different learners. My teaching style is encouraging, and I help make reading, something some students struggle to understand and enjoy, easier and fun.

This class uses scaffolding, read-aloud, hands-on activities to help all students including students with ADHD and Dyslexia build reading comprehension skills.
