Why choose my class? 

👩🏼‍🏫I have 10+ years teaching experience and I absolutely love my job.  Students are able to bring in homework/schoolwork to work on or I can create a lesson plan based off of the student's individual needs. Student's can feel comfortable asking questions and addressing the things they want/need to focus on. This class is a fun way for student's to become more confident in reading. This is also a great class for kindergarten/preschool prep or just to get caught up!  I will be using ELA and common core standards.

Topics will include: Phonological Awareness,  Phonics, Vocabulary, CVC & CVCE words, Reading and comprehension, Blending, decoding, syllables, Inflectional endings, Compound words, Literature and Informational text comprehension, digraphs, Letters, Numbers, Colors, Shapes, sight words, Addition and subtraction, addition with regrouping, 
subtraction with borrowing, Story Problems, Multiplication, skip counting and much more!

We will have so much fun while learning! My classes will be personalized to your individual student. We will have an informal session in the beginning to talk with your child and learn what goals you have for your child. 
I will tutor in math and reading/writing. If you have any other preferences just let me know and I will be happy to incorporate them into your child’s plan! 
I provide tutoring 4 days a week for 35 minutes each day. (Feel free to enroll in as many days as you would like)
I believe Learning through play is the best way! We will have Fun Educational games and  songs.
