I have taught Special Education for 6 years and I have a Master’s Degree in Special Education. I have taught at the Elementary, Middle School and High School level. If your child is outside of the age range, message me and I can see if we can work something out. 
This is a one-time class where I will help your student on their reading level. Please let me know their reading level or a list of words they can read 48 hours before this lesson so that I can modify instruction to your child’s needs. 
Examples of skills taught are:
CVC one syllable words
Consonant blends one syllable words
Vowel team one syllable words
Multisyllabic words with blends and short vowels
Multisyllabic words with open and closed vowels
Word chunking multisyllabic words 

After the first course, we can set up on-going courses for reading instruction. 
I am Orton-Gillingham certified and I use a multi sensory strategy for instruction. Students with Autism, ADHD, Developmental and Intellectual Delays benefit greatly from multi sensory instruction. We will play games and have fun activities that help learn to decode and will also work on FRY’s sight word list.
