閱讀技巧：流暢度、詞彙量和對多音節單字的理解

In this course, learners will review phonics patterns found in multisyllabic words. As a class, we will read a passage containing the reviewed phonics patterns. After decoding the passage, we will build vocabulary by using context clues and identifying word parts such as prefixes, suffixes, and root words. We will practice fluent reading including strategies for expression and accuracy. Finally, students will write responses to comprehension prompts and share them with peers. 

This is an ongoing class, so each week's lesson is stand-alone and does not require pre-requisite knowledge from previous classes in this course.
I have a fun, consistent, and familiar teaching style that allows students to feel safe and comfortable in the classroom.
I do not cancel for low enrollments. If your student is the only learner in class, I will still plan to teach.
I accept transfer requests whenever possible.
Per Outschool policy, I do NOT refund for missed class. 

Content for this course will cycle every calendar year in September. Learners are welcome to join anytime. Parents are responsible for keeping track of when their child was enrolled to avoid repeated lessons, if desired. Learners are invited to stay in the class for repeated lessons when useful and applicable.
