Hi, I’m happy to introduce myself, I’m Ms. Lemmon.  I’ve spent 32 years (and counting) teaching people (little and big) how to read, how to become a better reader, and how to love to read!  Enabling students to read is my absolute passion in life- I love it!  And, at this point, I’m really good at it, too. I started tutoring students in reading during my college years.  I have continued tutoring students professionally and personally as a Certified Reading Specialist for almost 30 years of teaching in public schools.  I have taught 1st grade for 11 years, served as a Certified Library Media Specialist for 15 years, and am currently a Reading Interventionist. I believe in the ability of students and have witnessed so many students learn how to read and then become lifelong readers over the years.  I hope you give me the opportunity to help your child in this endeavor!  When I’m not teaching Reading, I love hiking and walking my dogs, while listening to audiobooks!
