As a Reading Specialist, a current Reading Interventionist, and a teacher for almost 30 years, my specialty and passion is tutoring students in reading. I've tutored many students in reading through the years. Enabling students to become confident readers and enjoy reading is the best experience of my professional career. Tutoring sessions are individualized to focus on each student's strengths and challenges to increase their reading ability and confidence in Word Recognition, Comprehension, and Fluency.

Hi, I’m happy to introduce myself, I’m Ms. Lemmon. I’ve spent 32 years (and counting) teaching people (little and big) how to read, how to become a better reader, and how to love to read! Enabling students to read is my absolute passion in life- I love it! And, at this point, I’m really good at it, too. I started tutoring students in reading during my college years. I have continued tutoring students professionally and personally as a Certified Reading Specialist for almost 30 years of teaching in public schools. I have taught 1st grade for 11 years, served as a Certified Library Media Specialist for 15 years, and am currently a Reading Interventionist. I believe in the ability of students and have witnessed so many students learn how to read and then become lifelong readers over the years. I hope you give me the opportunity to help your child in this endeavor! When I’m not teaching Reading, I love hiking and walking my dogs, while listening to audiobooks!評論
