This class is structured for learners to understand compound words; which are when two separate words are combined to make a new word. Learners tend to use picture cues when reading and once the book has no pictures they will form pictures in their imagination; from what they are reading. I also designed this game to instill and remind the learner, that in English we read from left to right. This game is an extension to my reading foundation class; as it is the favourite game of all my learners. Week 1 - Learners play Pack 1 Week 2 - Learners play pack 2 Week 3 - Learners play pack 3 Week 4-7 - Learners play pack 4-7 After class your learner will leave class looking forward to the next class. The whole class re-loops back to pack 1 after week 7
