This class will support elementary-aged students with extra reading practice to understand fiction and non-fiction texts better. Each session will focus on reading 1-2 short stories. or passages together, then answer comprehension questions to check for understanding of the text. Vocabulary words in the text will be discussed and we will use context clues to figure out unknown words. Each fiction story will focus on specific skills including setting, characters, plot, and problem/solution....
