Students practice reading comprehension strategies in class and learn how to apply these strategies to everything they read outside of class.
I require camera to be kept ON during this Reading Comprehension class. It is difficult for me to check for comprehension of what we're reading if I cannot see your student. When a student camera is off and they do not reply to a question, I don't know if they're not answering because are not paying attention and are distracted, or if they simply don't understand and are thinking about how to answer.
