閱讀理解（小組課）

This weekly, reading comprehension class is for students to learn and improve their reading and comprehension skills. Make them confident in reading, understand what they are reading. This will also help with spelling, writing, grammar and in turn will improve their reading skills. 

Our first class we will get to know each other have comfortable and relaxed conversations. I will share short stories and we will take turns reading the short stories out loud then we will have a series of questions to answer.  I want to make reading fun, positive and as relaxed as possible. 

These sessions are student driven, I can go down a level or up a level in reading. We will work on reading fluency and comprehension skills Phonics and phonemic awareness skills, pronunciation, practice reading out loud to teacher. 

 I will teach students how to break down words in to pieces or smaller words to help them become confident in their reading skills. We will look up any vocabulary words that are in our story.
