Welcome to this fun, engaging academic class! All students, at all levels of reading, are welcome to participate in this class! In this class, students will learn parts of speech! I will introduce the terms: noun, verb, adjective, and adverb! I will explain that nouns are people, places and things and will also explain that verbs show actions! I will also explain that adjectives describe nouns and adverbs describe verbs! Students will be able to define these terms! I will show the students various words and they will choose the part of speech! We will have fun categorizing various words! There are no materials and no print outs required for this conversational reading class!
