Learning to read takes practice. Hello! I'm Miss Robin. I have a BA in English and Child Development and have been teaching and tutoring, letter recognitions, phonics, and reading for over 20 years. In this ongoing class, I will work privately with your learner to help them gain the skills and confidence they need to become lifelong readers. I believe in Structured Literacy. I will build upon what your learner already knows. They will gain confidence in their reading ability, and build good reading habits.
Paper, coloring materials, the printables I will occasionally provide, and a writing utensil.
I will use Harcourt School Publishers Decodable Books, which I will provide during class.
