During this 1:1 class, your learner and I will use shared reading to complete a chapter book of their choosing with teacher recommendations provided. 🗓 Depending on the book and learner, we could complete a short chapter book in as few as two classes. While doing so, we will also develop reading comprehension skills, extending vocabulary knowledge, improved decoding accuracy, confidence in reading aloud, and connecting the story to our own lives.

Students should be reading at least beginner chapter books for this class. For younger learners, please see my "Beginner Reading | CVC Words & Phonics" or "Read to Me!" classes.
