This intermediate class, taught by certified teachers, is designed to build on foundational skills in phonological awareness, phonics, writing, vocabulary, and reading in a fun and engaging way. Our curriculum is 100% aligned to a comprehensive, heavily researched, systematic and explicit phonics-based scope & sequence that is rooted in the Science of Reading. We will work on fluency, comprehension, sentence writing, morphology, and grammar. Our desire is to SPARK your child’s passion for reading through a variety of activities and games. Students can join the class at any time as we spiral back to review all previously taught concepts each week.  It’s the perfect class for ESL students too!

Here is our class format for each week: 
-On Mondays, we will focus on phonics, word work, fluency drills, grammar, and writing.
-On Wednesdays, we will focus on phonics, word work, reading, and comprehension.

Additional resources will be provided each week to enrolled students for extra practice. 

We also offer a variety of diagnostic reading assessments, one-on-one private tutoring sessions, and reading/writing intervention sessions to help your child become more fluent and confident in reading and writing.
