Hello and welcome to my classroom! During this class, we will focus on reading comprehension with the use of short and interesting texts. We will start by discussing the topic to activate prior knowledge for the students, review key vocabulary, read the texts thoroughly identifying key details, and we will finish by answering comprehension questions utilizing the information provided in the text. This class will be students lead so that they can become comfortable reading text independently and utilizing key information within the text to help strengthen their comprehension. The text/stories change with every class so you can definitely enroll you learner in multiple sessions.
