The homework is to read twenty minutes every day — any book in any language. During my early literacy training at the public library, I learned an incredible fact: If you read for just 20 minutes a day, you will read 1.8 million words in one year! Therefore, Teacher Christina wants everyone to read for twenty minutes a day. Not only will this daily reading habit expose the learner to 1.8 million words in a year, it will instill in them a lifelong love of reading. With reading being the cornerstone of all subsequent learning, the daily reading habit is the simplest, least expensive way to set your child up for a lifetime of success and joy.0 - 1 每週課外時間
