In this class we will review the major concepts of grade 6 math in a fun and engaging way!

😀The purpose is to RELIEVE MATH ANXIETY AND GAIN CONFIDENCE! 

We will build our community at the beginning of each class, solve real life problems in every class and write on the interactive whiteboard. 

After each class, I will send you our whiteboard notes and assign practice. It's up to you to do the practice... but, it's worth it! 

I help students see themselves as confident and competent MATHEMATICIANS who are able to apply their math knowledge both in and out of the classroom. 

💥Video/Zoom: Students are asked to KEEP THEIR VIDEO ON for this class.   I provide students with opportunities to communicate and discuss their thinking.  This improves their understanding, provides me with useful information to inform instruction.  Ultimately, this shifts power away from the teacher being the possessor of knowledge to students being the constructors of it.
