In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to solve radical equations. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using square roots and evaluating exponents to find answers will be demonstrated as needed. Students should have a basic understanding of solving two-step equations with variables on both sides, finding square roots, and evaluating exponents before attending this class.
