Course Overview:
This course is designed to enhance students' grammar, editing, and handwriting skills in a short, focused, and efficient manner. Perfect for upper elementary or young middle school students, this class meets twice a week for 20 minutes, ensuring students get the needed practice without overwhelming their schedules. 

Course Structure:

1. Weekly Concept Introduction:

First Day of the Week: Students will learn a new grammar concept, such as parts of speech, basic comma and capitalization rules, or complex sentence patterns.

2. Passage Activities:
 - Reading and Marking: Students will read a sentence and mark it using a provided guide at the top of the page.
 - Correcting: After marking, students will correct the passage using the same guide.
 - Discussion: The teacher will discuss the corrections with the students, reinforcing the concepts learned.
 - Rewriting: Students will copy the corrected passage, focusing on neat handwriting and applying the corrections. This will be done on their own on Friday. I will ask that it be turned in and I will check for neat handwriting and that is was copied correctly. 

3. Skills Practiced:
-Defining parts of speech
-Applying basic comma and capitalization rules
-Constructing complex sentence patterns
-Editing and correcting written passages
-Improving handwriting through rewrite exercises
