In this fun, engaging 4-week flex training course, this successful Certified Dog Trainer/Teacher will be teaching learners how to train their own dogs in intermediate obedience using positive techniques and commands with distance, duration and distraction. The commands include sit, stay, recall, leave it and heel. Students will be given a task to complete via video and/or post. We will also play a game each week focusing on the weekly command. This class occurs using asynchronous messaging on the Outschool platform and does not meet live over video so student will respond via posts in the classroom. Teacher will be available as needed and respond to requests for help as needed with 24-hour turnaround time. This will be through messaging in the classroom. Each week should take at least 2 hours for student to view and train their dog. Videos are less than 5 minutes long. It will take at least 30 minutes of practice per day for each command and game.

Students will improve their skills in training their own dog in intermediate commands.
The students will also learn games to reinforce their dog training skills teaching their dogs to sit/down stay, come when called, leave it and heel using distance, duration, difficulty and distractions.

父母的引導和規範
Dogs are unpredictable and may not always learn at the same pace. Puppies should be older than 6 months. Children must have control of their dog and be able to follow directions. Dogs need space to train and must have a place to train with minimal distractions.
先決條件
Students must have taken beginning dog training and dogs should know basic skills such as sit, stay, down, come and recall. Puppy Paw Flex Camp is an appropriate prerequisite class.
