In this inclusive, friendly class we will create a story together using an exciting selection of puppets and props! Each child will contribute to the story and use their imagination! First we give our characters names and decide where the story happens - will it be somewhere magical, outer space or a mystical forest? Next we might use props to help us create ideas for what happens next. We will discuss the basics of a story (setting the scene, deciding on a problem, solution and the ending) and each child will add sound effects, voices and narration if they wish. At the end of the class we do a recap before drawing scenes from the story and deciding on a title. * If children do not wish to speak we will use hand gestures such as thumbs up to ensure everyone is involved and can contribute *
