I am a violinist who started to learn music as an adult, whilst working towards my PhD in Psychology. I have obtained ABRSM Grade 7 in Violin and Grade 8 in Music Theory, and teach introductory Music classes for teens and adults alongside my main teaching in Psychology and Biology. I have experience of using Psychological knowledge to inform my own practice techniques, in order to prepare for solo/accompanied performances, and orchestral pieces.
