As an optional homework assignment, learners in this virtual Procreate class will be asked to create their own original unicorn drawing using the techniques learned in class. This can be done individually or in small groups, depending on the preference of the learners and the instructor. In this virtual Procreate class, learners will learn how to draw and color their dream unicorn. Topics covered will include using the brush and fill tools, adding color and texture, and layering and grouping elements. The class will be structured as a step-by-step tutorial, with each step demonstrated and explained by the instructor. I will teach using a combination of live demonstrations and verbal instructions, with plenty of opportunities for learners to ask questions and get feedback. My teaching style is interactive, engaging, and encouraging, with a focus on helping learners develop their own creativity and confidence. Learners will have the chance to interact with me and each other through live discussions and Q&A sessions, as well as by sharing their own artwork and receiving feedback. **No prior experience or knowledge is required to participate in this class. It is suitable for beginners and those with some experience in digital art.

Use the brush and fill tools to draw and color a simple ice cream cone
Add texture and color to create a realistic unicorn hair

In our virtual class on Procreate Basics, I believe that parent guidance is very safe and not required. The class is designed to be accessible and engaging for children of all ages and abilities, and I will provide clear and concise instructions to help learners navigate the app and learn the fundamentals of digital art. Parents are welcome to sit with their child during the class if they want to provide support and encouragement, but it is not necessary for the child to have parental supervision in order to participate in the class. I want to provide a fun and safe learning environment for all children, and I trust that they will be able to learn and create on their own with my guidance.
In my virtual class, I will be using the Procreate app on an iPad with an Apple Pencil. I will also be using the Procreate user guide, which I will screen share for my students to follow along. The Procreate app is a powerful digital illustration tool that allows me to create professional-quality artwork using my iPad and Apple Pencil. The user guide will provide step-by-step instructions on how to use the app and its various features. With these tools, I and my students will be able to create stunning digital art and learn about the features and capabilities of the Procreate app.
