Students will learn the following:

2.  Probability Distributions:

      and normal distributions.
   - Calculate probabilities using probability distribution functions.
   - Interpret probabilities in real-world contexts.

3. Descriptive Statistics:
   - Calculate and interpret measures of central tendency, including mean, median, and 
  mode.
   - Calculate and interpret measures of variability, including standard deviation and 
  variance.
   - Use descriptive statistics to summarize and describe data sets.

4. Inferential Statistics:
   - Understand the concepts of population and sample.
   - Conduct hypothesis tests to make inferences about population parameters.
   - Construct and interpret confidence intervals.

5. Real-World Applications:
   - Apply probability and statistics concepts to real-life situations, such as analyzing 
   sports data, predicting outcomes, and evaluating risks.
   - Use statistical software or tools to perform data analysis.

6. Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving:
   - Analyze and interpret data critically.
   - Formulate hypotheses and design experiments.
   - Draw conclusions based on statistical evidence.

By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of probability and statistics and be able to apply their knowledge to analyze data and make informed decisions.
