Welcome to my Outschool music studio! Are you a beginning singer who wants to learn what your voice can do?  Are you looking to become a stronger singer so you can sing solos in choir or land a better part in your school show? Are you considering majoring in a voice-related field for college and aren't sure where to start? These are all things I can help you with!

In our time together, we will develop a customized lesson plan to help you become a stronger singer while meeting your goals. For students new to voice lessons and performance, we will begin with the basics. If the student has experience - either through a choir or theater or from previous voice lessons - we will build on established foundations. During our first lesson, we will take time to discuss specific goals so that I can tailor make a lesson plan for you. A typical lesson includes vocal exercises to address technique, musicianship skills, such as music theory and musical interpretation, and repertoire work.

Students may be required to buy 2 books:
 *A music book which will be determined after our first meeting. Selection will be based on student interests and abilities. The books that I typically use can be purchased from Amazon. I may supplement this book with additional music, but my book recommendations are meant to be used for the long term.
 *A book from The Full Voice Workbook Series. The level will be determined after the first meeting with the student. This book covers musicianship skills such as reading notation, sight-singing, ear training, and music interpretation. (If your child already fluently reads music and is a more experienced singer, this book will not be required).
