課堂經歷
In private singing lessons students learn to improve their singing voices. We work on establishing a healthy vocal technique that can be applied to whatever genre of music the student is most interested in. I tailor each lesson to the vocal needs and goals of each particular student. Through teacher assigned songs as well as songs selected by the student, each learner will develop their own unique voice. It has been my experience in over a decade of teaching voice, that students who take singing lessons have a noticeable increase in self-confidence that stays with them no matter what they decide to do in music or in life.

Occasionally a student may be asked to purchase sheet music or a song book depending on their musical goals and experience level. Links for purchase will be provided as needed. I will often send students a karaoke or instrumental YouTube link to sing along with for some songs we work on. If possible, I encourage each student to have a second device (in addition to the device they are using to connect to the zoom lesson) such as a tablet or phone in order to play the karaoke or instrumental music. This helps prevent possible zoom audio delays, but is not necessary.
