Are you looking for a tutor, but are unsure which one to pick? Take this low cost trial class to determine if my tutoring class is the right fit for your learner!

This class is designed to allow the student and I to become acquainted with each other while trying some learning activities. We will sample various reading and writing concepts including:
-Phonics and decoding skills
-Reading Fluency
-Reading Comprehension
-Writing- a sample writing task as needed

I want to encourage a love of reading and writing in your learner. I will work to individualize future lessons for his/her needs based on this class as well as communication with the parent about goals and expectations. I use direct teaching as well as student-led learning to engage my students in the classroom.

1 time per week for 4 to 9 year olds:

I have taught in the elementary classroom for 15 years and I am certified in Pre-K through 5th grades. I am very experienced in working with individual students as well as groups of students. I am prepared to help your child improve their reading and/or writing skills in a fun way!
