In our ongoing tutoring session, we will focus on the reading skills your student needs to strengthen their comprehension. We will read different types of texts to practice fluency and comprehension. Some activities may include, rereading for fluency, creating short responses to questions, and answering multiple choice comprehension questions. With information from the parent, we will work on individual needs of the students. Within our session, we will work on a variety of reading comprehension strategies such as author's purpose, point of view, main idea, theme, inferencing, and more. Homework may be assigned to reinforce the skills we practiced during our session!
