I love teaching one on one, because I can tailor my lessons specifically to the learner's strengths and needs, enabling faster progress and a deeper understanding of the material. Each class meeting will follow a similar pattern, so that the learner will know what to expect. We will open up class with a Phonics Warm Up. I'm a Certified Teacher in the State of Texas, and I hold a Master's Degree in Education, with a special focus on Emergent Literacy. I am Orton-Gillingham trained through IMSE for K-2. I taught in a classroom setting for five years, and just finished my seventh year as a homeschool teacher.
No supplies are necessary for this class.
