In this class, learners will work towards their own phonics goals. Each leaner can start at the stage that suits them and the phonics games will be adjusted to their interest (Dinosaurs, Disney, animals etc). All sounds and phonemes have a picture and rhyme making it fun to learn and a paired phonics book! 

Stages 3-5 example:

'ay' - 'may I play' (matching picture), we will practice how to say it, then how to write 'ay', before reading 'ay' words and finishing with a game of tick tac toe, pairs, word search or find the sound.
As the lessons progress through these stages paired phonics books will be introduced when appropriate.

Stages 1-2 example:

All 26 sounds of the alphabet come in the form of a picture to match the sound, the letter 'a' is in an apple and this comes with a rhyme to guide leaners how to write each letter - 'round the apple and down the leaf'.

All my classes are fun and engaging as happy and confident learners thrive to their full potential! I am a very calm and patient teacher, welcome mistakes in my classroom as mistakes are proof we are trying. I am extremely encouraging and offer lots of praise to boost confidence and enjoyment!
