Learners will work through the Orton-Gillingham scope and sequence at their own pace. They will improve their phonemic awareness, decoding skills, fluency, and syllabication.
I am an Orton-Gillingham interventionist with an MA in Special Education. I have worked with struggling readers in the classroom and in my private practice for over 17 years. I love that I get to help people develop a lifelong love of reading and newfound confidence in themselves. I believe that everyone can read when they are provided with the right toolkit. I always make sure that my students feel supported and proud of their abilities.

I will keep a copy of each learner's progress notes for every class. I will link every lesson to our Outschool class page.提供的成績
1 註冊後即可取得文件I will have internet resources available to learners who want to use what I show them in class. They will be free and not required. Due to the multisensory nature of our lessons, students will need one or two tactile supplies. (For example, rice, sprinkles, shaving cream, playdough, a soft blanket all can work!) No one needs to buy anything to make this class work. I am happy to assist each learner in finding what works for them. I will provide printables to use for each class.
