每週 1-2 小時. Musicians in my class will be assigned weekly practice exercises such as warm up routines, scales, and songs from mutually agreed upon lesson books. These assignments are to be completed for the next lesson as lessons will build upon each other.評估
Musicians will be informally assessed based on their progress and the effort made each week. No letter grade will be given.評分

Each class will be tailored for your musician's individual skill level on his/her instrument. Depending on your student's level and knowledge of his/her instrument, your musician will learn how to... correctly put their instrument together properly care for their instrument hold their instrument correctly establish correct posture and proper breathing warm up properly using correct techniques play their scales establish correct embouchure and tonguing of notes finger different notes and read music establish beat and rhythm play different pieces of music gain confidence in how to independently practice these skills We will achieve this by warming up and practicing a piece(s) of music together, with modeling and scaffolding as needed. *Please note that any available ongoing class time can be converted into a one-time, trial class. All you need to do is ask! * Please note that due to my very busy schedule, make up lessons will NOT be available for missed lessons* *Parents, you must message me your child's instrument when signing up for this class. If you don't message me your child's instrument a day prior to their first lesson, the first class will be canceled until I know the instrument your child plays.

1. Instrument + necessary instrument supplies (i.e. reeds for clarinet/saxophone, valve oil for brass instruments) 2. Foldable music stand (these can be found on Amazon for under $20 or at your local music store) 3. Lesson book (I will reach out to you to determine which lesson books and materials will be best suited for your musician's skill level. Examples of lesson books that may be recommended include Essential Elements and/or Breeze Easy.) *Printer (will only be used to print music if your learner doesn't have his/her lesson book before our first class)
