In this 8-weekclass, students can sign up for individual time with the teacher to work on specific skills.  Every class will start with a number talk which will help the student manipulate numbers mentally.  For example:  numerical expressions will be written horizontally to ensure the child is using place value when solving the expression mentally.  Next, we will review the skills already taught in the previous classes.  We will then work on a skill such as multiplying numbers, fractions, or identifying quadrilaterals by their attributes.  Each class will include story problems to reinforce the skills.
