In this class, learners will work towards their own reading goals whilst using the Oxford Reading Books to guide lessons. Throughout these classes leaners will improve their fluency, understanding, accuracy and their joy for reading. The ORT book are great for using the same characters throughout all the books which creates an engagement and interest like no other when progressing through the books.

I have access to hundreds of ORT books from stages 1- 9. The stages cover variety of abilities which would suit children from ages 4 -12. Examples of book titles:

A New Dog, Biffs Aeroplane, The Chase, The go-Kart and MORE! (Stages 1-2)
A cat in the Tree, Toads in the Road, Kipper the Clown, The rope swing and MORE!(Stage 3)

All my classes are fun and engaging as happy and confident learners thrive to their full potential! I am very calm and patient, and I welcome mistakes in my classroom as mistakes are just proof we are trying. I am extremely encouraging and offer lots of praise to boost confidence and enjoyment!
