US Grades 8-12 Private tutoring sessions are customized to help students learn, reinforce and/or enrich their current math abilities. We can focus on: Reviewing a previous assignment Current math concepts Homework Helping with homework Test Prep My teaching style is flexible, knowledgeable and caring. When I work with students, I will find their best learning style and quickly adapt to their level. With 15 years of teaching experience, I know how to help students recognize their strengths and areas for growth. The goal for my sessions will be enduring understanding of the content. Students should come to the session prepared with their current assignment, questions and/or topics to focus on to make the most out of our session. When scheduling, if you don't see the time slot that you'd like, send me a message and I'll see what I can do.

My name is Shiteema Dozier, and I am a secondary Math teacher. I hold a Master of Arts in Mathematics from Binghamton University, a Master of Education in Math from Teachers College, Columbia College, and a Masters of Science in Mathematics Education from City College of New York. I have fourteen years of experience teaching Mathematics. I believe in teacher-guided and student-led approach to learning.
